About Bill
Bill Leamon is the Managing Director of The Business of Good Foundation, responsible for leading a network of capacity-building organizations focused on assisting nonprofits who serve the economically and socially disadvantaged.
Prior to joining The Business of Good Foundation in 2009, Bill spent 15 years working for large private sector companies, including Black & Decker, The Stanley Works, and Akzo Nobel. Bill's cross-functional experience includes senior-level leadership roles in sales/marketing, manufacturing/operations, and organizational development/design.
Bill has earned the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina (1993)
- Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University (2001)
- Master of Positive Organization Development & Change from Case Western Reserve University (2007)
- Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University (2010)
In addition to his work at the The Business of Good Foundation, Bill is Professor of Marketing at Notre Dame College, and formerly an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University and Lake Erie College, where he taught courses in Strategic Management, Organizational Change, and Leadership Development at the Executive MBA-level.
Bill currently resides in Bay Village, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, with his wife of 18 years and their four sons.
