Hard Hatted Women
Welcome to Hard Hatted Women (HHW), a private, not for profit entity that is proud to be a nationally recognized resource to support national, state and regional initiatives to increase women's access to high paying jobs while at the same time meeting employers' needs for the development of a skilled workforce.
Our mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by creating workplace diversity in trade and technical careers.
Programs for women include introductory Orientations to Trade and Technical Careers; WISE Pathways (an in-depth career exploration workshop); and leadership development. We also have youth programs that “Inspire Girls to Greatness,” including the popular Rosie's Girls™ summer camp, middle school outreach, and STEM programming. All of these programs are based on our Tradeswomen TOOLS model, which recognizes that the best way to help women enter and advance in trade and technical careers is by leveraging the experience of women already successful in these nontraditional fields.
